I must agree; the effects WERE outstanding. It is hard to believe this was animated with just flash [I'm assuming]. "No particular story"-well, most dreams of mine never have a particular story or logical progression, so being able to watch an animation of such splendor and muse was fantastic. Great work

After playing Music Catch 1, I started listenning to a lot more of Isaac Shepard's stuff, as previously an avid Yiruma fan, I found his work to be just as pleasing. And if you haven't already I would suggest trying to find some of Yiruma's music as well. Anyways..after seeing a Music Catch 2 release, I didn't think much of it, I figured I'd already had that experience with the first game. But this was beyond what I expected, and I wished I had tried it out sooner. Thank you for the inspiration and joy of playing this wonderful masterpiece! I think I almost fell out of my chair when I saw the iPhone version as well, and I'm downloading it as I write! Thanks again.

u dont put previews in the flash portal. put them in the NG Alphas (like it tells you to before you submit a flash, which is another good reason to read directions. when u try to submit something they tell you what is a good thing to submit or not, and obviously you didn't see that bit) or go to the forums and ask what people will think. there's an amazing tool called google that will direct you to another website where you can temporarily hold and display a flash file so people int he forums can go look at it and tell you to submit or not. basically, DONT SUBMIT UNFINISHED WORK!

otherwise-work on it some more, get some shading going in there, smooth out the water effects, and it might be a decent movie.

A good game nontheless-however..

I don't think this is a good game to have on Newgrounds. It's highly unoriginal, using freaking sprites? How wonderful. newgrounds is about artists-having real quality flash work portrayed, not for easily manipulating and controling predone 3D models. this game makes the rest of us look bad franky..

The reason I gave this such a low score was simply due to crapy interactivity. Reading the instructions, starting and ending games, and even playing the game was just not an enjoyable or easy experience. Not to say games should be easy, but having to sit through a text box SLOW typing effect explain to you how to play the game is almost as painful as sitting through your classmate's shitty powerpoint who used 5 different transitions into 1 slide and had over the top effects for the text. I don't mean to be harsh, but it is little details like these that quickly change a person from voting 5 to 0. (because we all know there's absolutely nobody on NG that uses the 1-4 buttons)

hello, i'm here not to learn about how to animate someone running, but to post something about the absurd nature of the comments you make for other peoples well put together movies and games that you seem to have no care for. you say this took 5 minutes to put together, then why the hell are you putting it up in the first place? there are a thousand other places to find something like this on the internet. do not be so ignorant to think that because you have some fancy knowledge on the subject that you can put all 5 minutes of your work up here to post to everyone, and then go criticise other people's amazing pieces of work that took them most likely months and months of hard work. nothing in flash goes by in 5 minutes, and certainly nothing worth putting up on newgrounds should take no less than hours to accomplish, and should be more like weeks or even up to a year to complete. congratulations to your achievement, but go put in a few hours of work before you put up anything again on newgrounds, show some real work first. or at least post a predone version of what you want to submit in the forums first and get other people's opinions, on whether or not they would want to see it in the portal, before you actually post. still, good luck to you, but again-don't be so hypocritical on newgrounds. people hate that, especially when your portfolio only retains this silly piece of 7 frames.

"Intuitive Design"

For a system so complex, so well designed, and so fun, it's too bad this game didn't recieve more credit than it deserved. I'm only the 9th review? A shame, but this game was great nontheless. It's too bad most people will only put in as much effort they want into first glances with straight off the bat graphics and cathy gameplay, but hopefully your future games will have more a spotlight to shine in.
